Busy, Fun Week!

    What a week, Red Ribbon Week and a field trip to Notre Dame.  Also, this week we finished up the Robotics unit in science and we kicked off our latest project dealing with Explorers.  Our students will be working on this project until Thannksgiving.  They are working in groups of two and we are excited to see what they create and share.
     Just a reminder that reading calendars are due on Friday for the month of October.  Achieve 3000 needs to be completed each week by Saturday at midnight.  We are reading The City of Ember in Humanities and we are also learning a lot about different explorers.  In math we are working on area and volume this week.  We are beginning to start a new unit in science on the sun, moon and shadows.
