Field Trip and Other Fun Things

     Well last week was a very fun and busy week.  We are working on our new project and finishing up our election project at the same time.  We took our annual trip to Notre Dame and it was a lot of fun.  We were very pleased with our students and their wonderful behavior.  There were a couple of other schools there at the same time and our students were so much more well behaved and we could not be more proud of them.
    This Friday we are walking to PHS to watch their version of the Wizard of Oz and that should be a fun time.  It looks like we will have beautiful weather for this little trip.
    This past week we worked on learning about our Smart Strengths and our classmates Smart Strengths.  This was a great activity that will help us as we work together this year.  Robotics has finished up in science and we are moving on to learning about the Sun and Moon.

End of First Quarter

   Friday marked the end of the first quarter.  Report cards will be send home in Monday folders the Monday we get back from Fall Break.  We appreciate all of the parents who have already come in for our parent/teacher/student conferences.  We have two more days scheduled this coming week, so we look forward to seeing the rest of you.
     Reminder that we are on Fall Break from October 15-23.  Permission slips for our trip to Notre Dame are due this week as well as permission slips for our trip to PHS to see the annual children's play.
    We hope you have had a chance to see the tie dyed shirts, just another reminder, wash them with dark colors at least for the first few washes.
