We will be having our Invention Fair on Wednesday from 12:30-2:30 and all are welcome to come to Riverside to check out what the students have come up with to help people with different disabilities. They have been working hard on their prototypes and displays. In science they have done a lot of work with different prototypes and have been working on making their own prosthetic legs out of a lot of unique items.
We had our talent show last week and that was a lot of fun. We also have been enjoying our Relay for Life Friday dress up days as well. Western day was a hit! There is information coming home in the Monday folders this week about the Relay for Life fun day coming up next week on Tuesday. Students will be able to participate in some fun activities that the sixth graders have come up with. Each student will get two tickets to begin with and then they may purchase tickets to do more things as well with all of the proceeds going to Relay for Life. It should be a fun day.
We are starting to get shirts brought in for our tie dying project. Students need to have these in by Friday of this week and we also need permission slips for field day as well.
Here are some photos form our gallery walk this week where we did some critical friends critiquing of each others displays. Also, some photos from science class and the talent show. Have a great week!
