May 12-16

Happy Spring, in Indiana......If the saying, "if you don't like the weather just wait a little bit and it will change." was ever to be true it has been this spring!  From 90 degrees last week for our field trip to rain, hail and cold this week.  I am just thankful for the sunshine today!
With only 13 days left of school we have a lot going on!  We will be sending home information in the Monday folders about our field day and our tie dye project that is coming up.  Also, we will be having our Invention Fair on May 28th in the afternoon in the Riverside gym.  If you are available and would like to come and check out the kids disability inventions and see their displays you are welcome to attend.  We will be having a panel come around and check them out and the students would love to have more people visit their "booth" as well.  We are planning on the fair from 12:30-2:30.
Students have been told over and over that their Riverside Reads for 4th quarter is due by 3:15 on May 29th.  We have a lot who are already finished but some need to get it into high gear before this date arrives.  Also two more weeks of Achieve 3000, help the students not forget this weekly requirement.
Attached are some photos from this past Friday's Relay for Life dress up like a twin day.  Have a great week!
