We had another busy week here at Riverside. We had our Relay for Life fun fair and had a lot of fun with that. The 6th grade Innovation Academy students did a wonderful job organizing this fundraiser. We had our annual egg drop on Friday and we had a lot of successful contraptions and quite a few splats but that makes if fun!
We sent home notes last week and few more will go home tomorrow about the awards program that will be Tuesday morning at 9:00am. Most of the students receiving awards were given a letter last Tuesday, a few others may get letters tomorrow. We are only able to give a few awards at this program. We would love to give out many more but this is something that is set by the school so that the program does not last forever.
We will also be having our final spirit assembly on Tuesday afternoon and our Relay for Life Celebration. We hope that we send the students off having learned a lot this year about themselves and how to get along with others as well as learning content. This has been a year of growth and we hope that you have all seen the same growth in your children that we have.
